I am a Professor in the School of Automation at Beijing Institute of Technology since April 2026. My research focuses on evolutionary computation, genetic programming, reinforcement learning, and data-driven optimization for dynamic scheduling and decision making.

Before joining Beijing Institute of Technology, I worked as a Scientist at the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore, from July 2024 to March 2026, with a joint appointment as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore), from October 2024 to March 2026.

  • Apr 2026: I joined the School of Automation, Beijing Institute of Technology as Professor.
  • 2026: New works on advanced diverse partner selection, multitask genetic programming, and inventory policy optimization were added to my publication list.
  • 2025: I was awarded the Excellent Young Scientists Fund Project (Overseas), China.

  • Jul 2024: I completed my PhD at Victoria University of Wellington, supervised by Yi Mei, Fangfang Zhang, and Mengjie Zhang.
