- Our paper TransGP is now available as an Early Access article in IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation.
- My coauthors Yi Mei, Fangfang Zhang, Mengjie Zhang, and I received the 2027 IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine Outstanding Paper Award for "Genetic Programming and Reinforcement Learning on Learning Heuristics for Dynamic Scheduling: A Preliminary Comparison." The award includes a certificate and a USD 1,000 prize shared equally among the coauthors. View the IEEE CIS award details.
- EvoSpeak was accepted for publication in IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation.
- I joined the School of Automation, Beijing Institute of Technology (北京理工大学自动化学院) as a professor and became a member of the State Key Lab of Autonomous Intelligent Unmanned Systems (自主智能无人系统全国重点实验室).
- I added new publications on advanced diverse partner selection, multitask genetic programming, and inventory policy optimization.
- Several new papers appeared in the CEC proceedings and in IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation and Artificial Intelligence Review.
- I held a joint postdoctoral appointment at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, collaborating with Professor Yew-Soon Ong.
- I worked as a Scientist at the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech), A*STAR, Singapore.
- I completed my PhD at Victoria University of Wellington.
