- Our paper "Niching Genetic Programming to Learn Actions for Deep Reinforcement Learning in Dynamic Flexible Scheduling" is listed as an ESI Highly Cited Paper (Top 1%) by citations among Computer Science papers from the same publication year (May/June 2026 ESI data; verified October 23, 2026). The article appeared in IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation, vol. 30, no. 1, pp. 61-75, February 2026.
- Our paper TransGP is now available as an Early Access article in IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation.
- My coauthors Yi Mei, Fangfang Zhang, Mengjie Zhang, and I received the 2027 IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine Outstanding Paper Award for "Genetic Programming and Reinforcement Learning on Learning Heuristics for Dynamic Scheduling: A Preliminary Comparison." - EvoSpeak was accepted for publication in IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation.
- I joined the School of Automation, Beijing Institute of Technology (北京理工大学自动化学院) as a professor (准聘教授) and became a member of the State Key Lab of Autonomous Intelligent Unmanned Systems (自主智能无人系统全国重点实验室).
